COMPREHENSIVE
The PIER system supports many uses: collaborative benches, focused workstations, hotdesking, conference tables, and executive desks. We also created the industry's first benching system that can switch from fixed to fully adjustable heights by adding motorized height-adjustment components.
DESIGNED FOR TRANSFORMATION
Planning with PIER lets you easily switch workstations into meeting spaces and back. You do this by replacing or hot-swapping work surfaces with meeting surfaces. The workstation footprint stays the same, and base assemblies — including height-adjustable mechanisms and internal cabling in a new cable channel — remain intact.
USER CENTERED
We combined height-adjustable meeting areas with private and shared workstations into a single cluster to create a new kind of workbench. It supports different people and health needs and respects personal preferences. We developed and prototyped easy assembly steps, flexible cluster reconfiguration, and smart cable management.
